On Saturday, February 27, the Oklahoma History Center welcomes Dr. Donnie Nero Sr. Dr. Nero will speak about the history of African American education in Oklahoma. Dr. Nero is president of the Oklahoma African American Educators Hall of Fame and former president of Connors State College. Dr. Nero’s program will begin at 11am. A documentary will follow at 1pm and an Okietales program for children will begin at 2pm.
