Hello, great blog you have there. You're nt from Oklahoma by any chance? My name is Matt and I'm born here and still a resident of OKC. I'm searching for more blogs about the state and the city or with Okie writers to blog about. I have recently blogged about alll sorts of topics from the The 10 Comandments Memorial to the return of Half-Price bookshop! And write me an email if you are interested in trading blogroll links! Or just leave a note at my blog ClearlyOKC,com if something sparks your interest, my blog is dofollow and has the commentluv plugin too. :-) MattAtClearlyokc

As a member of the Clark family I am delighted to see this article and know of the recent expansion of view and information.

John G. Clark was in my view a true Renaissance man. I have just published a book Prairie Tree Letters of personal letters with an appendix with a biography written by his great granddaughter. I intend to donate a copy of the book to the Center soon. A link to more information is also on the family web site.

His son Will also contributed much to building the state from early days and there is also are article in the book which note this.

I love the article. It not only gives us interesting information about the artifact but gives the reader a better understanding of what the Oklahoma Historical Society does in its progress in preservation. I really like the blog idea, keep it up.
