Oklahoma History Center Invites Public to “Carnival of Animals” Kilgen Organ Performance

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma History Center welcomes the public to enjoy “Carnival of Animals,” a family-friendly Kilgen Organ performance by world-renowned organist Adam Mark Pajan. Pajan will give two matinee performances on Saturday, October 19, at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the Devon Great Hall. Each performance will be approximately 35–40 minutes in length. These performances will be offered with the price of admission to the History Center, located at 800 Nazih Zuhdi Drive in Oklahoma City. For more information, please call 405-522-0765.

Pajan has been a member of the faculty of the American Organ Institute (AOI) at the University of Oklahoma since 2014. He lists his professional responsibilities as teaching, performing, leading worship and organ building. “As an active performer, I have traveled through the United States and Germany to present programs from Washington to Florida and Arizona to Connecticut,” said Pajan. “Abroad, solo performances have taken me to Mainz, Wiesbaden, Hanau, Magdeburg, Fulda and Altenberg. As an active collaborator, I have accompanied choral concerts in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and Hungary. Also, I fully believe in the same pursuit as stated in the AOI mission: ‘honoring the past; embracing the present; fostering the future.’”
