Celebrate Christmas at Fort Towson
FORT TOWSON, Okla. — Fort Towson Historic Site will be hosting Christmas at the Fort on Saturday, December 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. Visitors can bundle up and enjoy a riding tour of the grounds featuring historical interpreters. After a visit with Santa, guests will enjoy cider and cookies in the sutler’s store.

Fort Towson Historic Site is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma. Founded in 1893 by members of the Territorial Press Association, the OHS maintains museums, historic sites and affiliates across the state.
