Ice Cream Social at Fred and Addie Drummond Home
HOMINY, Okla. — The Friends of the Fred and Addie Drummond Home will host their annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, September 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the historic home in Hominy. Visitors can tour the “Drummond Heirlooms” exhibit inside the three-story house, then enjoy a frozen treat outside on the grounds. Author Roseanne McKee will be on-site to sign copies of her book “Oklahoma Roses,” and copies of the Addie Drummond cookbook also will be available for purchase.
The Ice Cream Social is included with regular admission. The Fred and Addie Drummond Home is located at 305 N. Price Ave. in Hominy. For more information about this event, please call 918-885-2374.
The Fred and Addie Drummond Home is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
