State Historic Preservation Office Hosting Webinar on Federal Review and Compliance with Section 106
OKLAHOMA CITY — The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) will provide important, relevant and useful information on Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) during a free webinar on Monday, December 5, starting at 10 a.m.
Presenters from the SHPO will explain the review process and the importance of the process. They will help anyone who might be involved in the process in Oklahoma.
Registration is required.
Section 106 of the NHPA stipulates that federal agencies must consider the effects of their undertakings on properties listed in or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
