Workshop at Oklahoma History Center to Showcase Art of Weaving
OKLAHOMA CITY — Learn the art of weaving while creating a modern piece of wall art to take home during a workshop at the Oklahoma History Center (OHC) on Saturday, January 14, from 1–4 p.m.
The hands-on program for ages 12 and up will include a discussion on various types of fibers, basic techniques and historic weaving practices.
The workshop will take place from 1–4 p.m. in classrooms A and B on the first floor of the OHC.
The cost is $40 for Oklahoma Historical Society members and $50 for non-members. It includes all materials. Registration is required. The class is limited to 15 participants. Tickets are available on the Oklahoma History Center’s online store. For more information call 405-522-0765.
