Walking Tour at Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center to Focus on the History of Beer and Brewing
ENID, Okla. — The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center will host an exciting event full of exploration, drinks and more on Friday, April 12, from 6-10 p.m. Local breweries and historical interpreters will take visitors through the history of Oklahoma beers in “Liquid History: Beer Garden.” This is part of the “Museum After Dark” series of events.
Guests will hop through the rich and controversial history of beer in Oklahoma that has been passed down from generation to generation. You will be guided through the Humphrey Heritage Village and experience the stories of how mining, immigrants and prohibition influenced the different styles of beer and hands that crafted it.

The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society.
