New Exhibit on Native American Artists Opening at Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center

ENID, Okla. — The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center will have various works of art by Oklahoma Native American artists on display from Monday, May 6, through Saturday, July 6, in the Mabee Foundation Gallery. The exhibit is called “From Our Hands.”

Featured artists include Paladine Roye (Ponca), Burgess Roye (Ponca), Penny Coates (Citizen Potawatomi Nation) and Amber DuBoise-Shepherd (Navajo/Prairie Band Potawatomi/Sac and Fox) as part of the annual Spring Art exhibit series. The exhibition will be displayed in the Mabee Foundation Gallery.

The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society.
