State Historic Preservation Office Webinar to Focus on Masonic Lodges in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY — A free webinar hosted by the State Historic Preservation Office will focus on the history of Masonic lodges in Oklahoma. The webinar is on Thursday, June 13, at 2 p.m. with speaker Kenneth Sivard, an Oklahoma Historical Society board member. This webinar is part of the SHPO’s 2024 series “Everyday Oklahoma: Fascinating Stories About Familiar Places.”

Masonic lodges are fraternal organizations of Freemasonry that focus on things like tradition, community service and fellowship. Several lodges in Oklahoma are still standing and are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
