Drummond Heirlooms Exhibit Opens on September 1 at Family’s Historic Home in Hominy
HOMINY, Okla. — From Sunday, September 1, through Sunday, September 29, family heirlooms belonging to the Fred and Addie Drummond family will be displayed at the Victorian-style home they built in 1905.
Once a year, the historic home displays artifacts belonging to the Osage County ranching family for the public to view. Articles of clothing, school memorabilia, sheet music, quilts, toys and numerous attic treasures will be displayed.
The Fred and Addie Drummond Home is located at 305 N. Price Ave. in Hominy. It is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Call 918-352-5583 for more information.
The Fred and Addie Drummond Home is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
