Pioneer Woman Museum to Host Two Glass Fusing Classes
PONCA CITY, Okla. — On Saturday, October 19, the Pioneer Woman Museum and Statue will offer two make-and-take sessions to make a “glass-tastic” night light. Join instructor Audrey Schmitz as she conducts a “de-LIGHT-ful” interactive glass fusion class at 11 a.m. and another session at 1 p.m.
Glass-Tastic participants will create an original fused glass night light and enjoy light refreshments for a $35 registration fee. Along with learning about the art and technique of glass fusion, a wide array of colorful art glass and design components such as frit, dots and stringer will be on hand. No prior experience with glass is required to create original art, have fun and get your sparkle on.
Additional night lights may be made and paid for during the event. Pioneer Woman Museum will take all “Glass-Tastic” reservations and collect the $35 fee. Call 580-765-6108 or drop by 701 Monument Rd. to reserve a seat as space is limited.

The Pioneer Woman Museum and Statue is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society.
