History and Haunts Returns to Overholser Mansion in October
OKLAHOMA CITY — The Henry and Anna Overholser Mansion will host its annual History and Haunts tours in October. The tours at the historic home will take place on October 4, 11, 18 and 30, with 45-minute tours available at 5, 6 and 7 p.m.
Each night will explore the history and haunts of the Overholser Mansion. Guests will dive into the rich history of the 121-year-old home while exploring its eerie haunts. Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased online in advance. The tour will include the usage of stairs.
The Henry and Anna Overholser Mansion is located at 405 NW 15th St. in the historic Heritage Hills neighborhood of Oklahoma City.
The event is presented by Preservation Oklahoma, Inc. It is the state’s only private, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to promoting, supporting and coordinating historic preservation activities throughout the state. The Henry and Anna Overholser Mansion is an affiliate of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people. Founded in 1893 by members of the Territorial Press Association, the OHS maintains museums, historic sites and affiliates across the state.
