Hunter’s Home to Hold Free Embroidery Workshop
PARK HILL, Okla. — On Saturday, November 16, Hunter’s Home will hold a free workshop teaching beginners the skill of embroidery. This workshop is best for ages 12 and up and will take place from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. No reservations are needed.
All supplies, including hoops, fabric, embroidery floss, needles and sewing accessories, will be provided. The workshop will be held inside the Hunter’s Home kitchen or on the east porch, depending on the weather.
For more information, call 918-456-2751. Hunter’s Home is located at 19479 E. Murrell Home Rd. in Park Hill. It is Oklahoma’s only remaining pre-Civil War plantation home.
Hunter’s Home is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
