“Wanted: Dead or Alive” Photo Exhibit Coming to Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum
PAWNEE, Okla. — A new photography exhibit opens at Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum on Saturday, February 1, and will be on display until Sunday, April 27. “Wanted: Dead or Alive” features some of Oklahoma’s most infamous criminals.
The exhibit includes dozens of mugshots, crime scene locations, and group shots with criminals and law enforcement officers. The images are from the FBI, the University of Oklahoma Western History Collections, the National Archives, and the Oklahoma Historical Society. Visitors will recognize familiar names like the Doolin and Dalton Gangs while learning about lesser-known criminals like the Tulsa Central Park Gang and Wanda Bartram. Many featured in “Wanted: Dead or Alive” were born and raised in Oklahoma or moved here and began their crimes.
The exhibit will be located inside the museum. For more information, please call the ranch at 918-762-2513. The Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum is located at 1141 Pawnee Bill Rd. in Pawnee. Visit PawneeBillRanch.org for hours of operation and admission prices.
