Oklahoma History Center Museum to Host Calligraphy Class in April
OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma History Center Museum will hold a calligraphy class with the Japan American Society of Oklahoma on Saturday, April 12, from 1-3 p.m.
Calligraphy is a centuries-old art in Japan. Although styles have changed over the years, calligraphy is still widely practiced today.
Guests should register online through the Museum Store to guarantee their spot. Tickets are $14 for OHS members and $24 for nonmembers. The cost includes all class supplies. The registration deadline is Saturday, April 5.
The Oklahoma History Center Museum is located at 800 Nazih Zuhdi Dr. in Oklahoma City. It is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Oklahoma History Center is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society and is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, National Archives and is an accredited member of the American Alliance of Museums.
