Reception Honors Lew Ward Family

ENID, Okla. — The Cherokee Strip Community Foundation and the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center (CSRHC) joined on May 10 in a celebration and donor appreciation event honoring donors to the CSRHC endowment campaign and celebrating the continuing progress of the campaign.

Donations by December 2017 exceeded the $1 million challenge match offered by the Lew and Myra Ward Family. Pledges and donations to date total more than $2.3 million, which is approaching the halfway mark of the $5 million campaign goal. The CSRHC campaign committee appreciates the donors and enthusiastically anticipates further success by receiving donations and pledges to achieve the campaign goal.

The CSRHC endowment will continue to grow under the management of the Cherokee Strip Community Foundation. This fund will assure the continuing excellence of the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, which preserves and presents the rich heritage of the region while entertaining, educating and inspiring this and future generations through exhibits, research, events and programs.

For information on how you can make a contribution to the CSRHC’s endowment campaign, contact Director Robbin Davis at 580-237-1907 or csrhcinfo@okhistory.org.
