Dutch Oven Cooking Class at Chisholm Trail Museum in Kingfisher
KINGFISHER, Okla. — The Chisholm Trail Museum in Kingfisher, Okla., will host a Dutch Oven Cooking class on September 15, 2018, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. In this casual, fun class, students will learn to care for cast-iron cookware and then create a Dutch oven delight of their own in small groups. The class will explore historical and modern recipes while learning how to cook in their backyards. All materials needed for the class will be provided. This class is restricted to adult students and children ages 10 and older, and is limited to 36 students. The cost for the class is $25 per person, or $40 per pair, and preregistration is required. Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring a lawn chair. Contact the museum at 405-375-5176 to reserve your place.
