July 9 – The Secretary of the Interior’s Guidelines for Rehabilitation
On July 7–9, the State Historic Preservation Office will host the Historic Preservation Tax Incentives virtual workshop series. The entire workshop series will be held online and live sessions will have ample opportunity for questions and discussion.
For this session, staff will discuss the Guidelines for Rehabilitation. The Guidelines are intended to assist in applying the Standards to projects generally; consequently, they are not meant to give case-specific advice or address exceptions or rare instances. The Guidelines pertain to historic buildings of all sizes, materials, occupancy, and construction types, and apply to interior and exterior work as well as new exterior additions.
