Fort Washita’s annual Ghost Stories

Fort Washita’s annual Ghost Stories will be held Wednesday, October 26, through Saturday, October 29. Each evening, tours take place at 7 pm, 8:30 pm, and 10 pm. Tickets are $10 per person. Steve Abolt, a master storyteller, returns this year to share his stories of actual haunted events that have occurred in connection with Fort Washita. Attendees will also hear stories from Fort Washita volunteers, including haunted events that have occurred during past Ghost Stories tours at the fort. This is not your typical “haunted house” event. Anything you see or experience will be real. Be sure to bring your digital cameras; you might be surprised at what shows up in your photos. This is a walking tour, so wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Reservations are required, please call 580-924-6502 to purchase tickets.
