The Chisholm Trail Museum in Kingfisher will host its annual Chuck Wagon Festival on Friday, April 14, and Saturday, April 15.
Festival events on Friday, April 14, will be held from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm for school groups.
Festival events on Saturday, April 15, will be held from 10 am to 5 pm for the general public.
Students can observe and participate in many of the occupations, chores, and other activities of the hardy pioneers that settled this great state. Students also will have an opportunity to play games and win prizes! The cost is $5 per student, which includes the $2 admission fee and 12 tickets for the games and/or food items. Additional tickets will be for sale in the Pioneer Village Bank. Each ticket is worth 25 cents. Cash must be used in the museum gift shop, and if reenactors have items for sale. Classes are welcome to bring a sack lunch and eat on the museum grounds. Food also will be available for sale. School groups attending the festival on Friday are asked to preregister.
