The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center in Enid is pleased to host a new event entitled A Night with Our Leaders on Friday, July 14. The museum will come to life after dark as guests are introduced to significant community leaders who shaped northwest Oklahoma. Six of the community leaders featured on the “Lessons of Leadership” panels sprinkled throughout the main exhibit gallery will be brought to life. Attendees will enjoy portrayals of Henry Bass, Laura Crews, Angie Debo, Marquis James, Lewis Umstead, and Lieutenant Colonel Leon Vance. Tours take place every fifteen minutes, beginning at 6:30 pm. A limited number of tickets are now on sale. The cost is $20 per person, which includes the tour and wine and hors d’oeuvres on the museum’s beautiful outdoor plaza.
