Come learn the basics of preserving your most treasured documents, books, and photographs in this 1-hour presentation. Patricia Jones, special collections librarian at the Oklahoma Historical Society, will demonstrate some preservation procedures that you can do at home to protect and preserve your paper-based items, without using special tools or materials.

Preservation 101 is from 11 am to noon in the Clark and Kay Musser Learning Lab inside the Research Center. Registration is $10 per person and we ask that you preregister by calling 405-522-5225.
About the Oklahoma Archives Bazaar
The OHS Research Center is partnering with the Oklahoma Archivists Association to host an Oklahoma Archives Bazaar. The event will be Saturday, October 28, from 11 am to 3 pm at the Oklahoma History Center. The Oklahoma Archives Bazaar is a free, fun event that is open to the general public and appropriate for all ages. At the center of the event are booths from archives, libraries, and museums across the state showing off their amazing collections and services.
