Every year in late May, the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum takes part in the City of Clinton’s Route 66 Festival. The festival will be held Saturday, May 23, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Frisco Avenue in downtown Clinton. Activities during the festival include a classic car show, a poker run, a hot dog eating contest, and weenie dog races. The Oklahoma Route 66 Museum will be one of the stations for the festival’s poker run on Saturday afternoon. Everyone is encouraged to come out to experience the history of Route 66 at the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum and explore everything the Clinton Route 66 Festival has to offer.
