Visit Fort Towson Historic Site on Saturday, June 8, to celebrate the town of Fort Towson’s homecoming. The day’s activities will begin at 10 a.m. with a homecoming parade through downtown Fort Towson. A barbecue lunch will be served on the fort’s grounds from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Catch up with old friends and meet some new ones! A pony express race will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a long-distance horse race. The festivities will conclude with a street dance at the Fort Towson Depot beginning at 8:30 p.m. Please call 580-873-2634 for more information.
