In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, the Oklahoma History Center will host a screening of the Smithsonian Channel™ film titled The Day We Walked on the Moon (2019) on Saturday, July 20, 1 p.m. The film features interviews from key figures in NASA Mission Control, contemporary astronauts, and the families of Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong. The program runs approximately 50 minutes and has a TV-PG rating. This event is made possible through the History Center’s partnership with the Smithsonian Institution and the Smithsonian Channel™. The screening is included with regular admission to the History Center. OHS members receive free admission. No advance ticketing is required and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
