“An Afternoon with General Blunt” presentation with Jim Spillars

On Saturday, February 15, from 1 to 2 p.m., Honey Springs Battlefield will host living historian Jim Spillars in his portrayal of Major General James G. Blunt. Spillars will make a presentation about Blunt’s leadership at the Battle of Honey Springs, the largest Civil War battle that occurred in Oklahoma. He will be dressed in period Civil War attire for the presentation.
Jim Spillars is the former president of the Washington County Historical Society. He has been studying and portraying General Blunt for many years.
