“Bachelor’s Bowties” Beginning Quilting workshop with Elsie M. Campbell, Pioneer Woman Museum

On Saturday, May 6, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, the Pioneer Woman Museum will host a “Bachelor’s Bowties” Beginning Quilting workshop with Elsie M. Campbell. Attendees will create a contemporary version of the old traditional block pattern Old Maid’s Puzzle. Use batiks, reproduction fabrics, or all the fabrics in your stash. Cost is $50 to attend the workshop, which includes lunch. A supply list will be provided with paid fee. To enroll in the class please call 580-765-6108 or email piown@okhistory.org. Class size is limited to twelve people.
This workshop is held in conjunction with the Pioneer Woman Museum’s newest exhibit entitled Pieces of a Collection: Selected Quilts of the Pioneer Woman Museum. The exhibit highlights historically significant quilts and sewing implements from the museum’s permanent collection. It will be on display until Saturday, September 16.
