This presentation is part of SHPO’s 2023 Archaeology speaker series Hidden Oklahoma: How Archaeology Reveals Secrets From Our Past.

Dr. Shawn Lambert is a southeastern archaeologist whose research focuses on the Early Mississippian (ca. AD 800-1200) and Pre- and Post-Removal Native American period (ca.
