Chisholm Trail 150th Anniversary exhibit opens, Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center

Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Chisholm Trail with an exciting new exhibit at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center in Enid. Step inside the J. E. and L. E. Mabee Foundation Gallery and learn about the greatest of cattle trails. The Chisholm Trail 150th Anniversary exhibit opens on Friday, May 5, and will be on display through Saturday, September 16. Guests can immerse themselves in the stories of the Chisholm Trail as they sit around the campfire, enjoy a lonely cowboy’s tune, all while standing on the former grand ol’ trail.
