On Tuesday, January 17, at 9 a.m., The Will Rogers Memorial Museum (WRMM) will host a training class to provide instruction on becoming a WRMM Docent! This 6-week course is 3 hours in length from 9 a.m. to noon starting on January 17 and ending on February 24. Participants will be given topic assignments, field trips, and opportunities to shadow/observe current volunteers.
After graduating from the course, participants will become an official Will Rogers “Roper.” Ropers teach and oversee educational and programming opportunities at the Memorial Museum, meet and greet people from around the world, and help with archiving and other behind-the-scenes activities!
