Visit the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center for Family Farm Day on Saturday, October 21, 2017, from 11 am to 3 pm. Family Farm Day is a hands-on experience celebrating our heritage of family farms powered by animals and human muscle. Activities and demonstrations include horseshoeing, pie making, caramel apples, quilts and textiles, leather crafting, canning, butter making, and other farm skills. Visitors can see the farm animals and view tucks and tractors on display. A pie auction at 1 pm will benefit the Turkey Creek School.
Family Farm Day is free with museum admission. Admission is $6 for adults, $3 for students, $4 for seniors, and children five and under are free. The family admission rate is $15 for up to four people. There is also a group rate (ten or more) of $4 per person. Veterans and active military with ID, CSRHC members, and OHS members receive free admission.
