Honey Springs Battlefield will host T. S. Akers on Saturday, March 28, at 1 p.m. He will present “Freemasonry Among the Five Tribes,” which will explore the influences of Freemasonry upon the citizens of the Five Tribes after their removal to the Indian Territory. Akers is a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and curator of collections for the McAlester Valley of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
