All Things Santa: The Art of Larry Greer exhibit opening and program, Museum of the Western Prairie

The Museum of the Western Prairie in Altus will open a new holiday exhibit, All Things Santa: The Art of Larry Greer, on Thursday, December 6, at 6:30 pm, with a premiere program beginning at 7 pm. This exhibit opening and program is free and open to the public. This event is hosted by the Western Trail Historical Society.

For many years, the late Larry Greer of Frederick would create a portrait of Santa Claus and offer both the original and dated prints for sale. With the aid and support of Dana Greer, Larry’s wife and collaborator, All Things Santa will feature as many of those originals and prints as possible! This program will recreate Larry’s seasonal gift to his patrons in a holiday exhibition with piano accompaniment by Clark Huey of Altus.
