On Friday, September 16, gambling, alcohol, and politics is the talk of the town! After dark, visitors to Humphrey Heritage Village will travel back to the early days after the 1893 Land Run and experience the lives of the homesteaders. Throughout the grounds and historic buildings, guests will encounter schoolmarms, land office agents, politicians, fine Victorian ladies, homestead families, and many others along their lantern-led tour.
Tours begin at 7 pm with a new tour starting every 15 minutes. Each tour lasts about an hour and a half and ends with music and refreshments.
The Heritage Center’s Annual Lantern Tours sell out quickly so get your tickets now! Tickets only $10 per person.
