On Saturday, May 2, Hunter’s Home will open its gates at 10 a.m. for visitors to see staff and living historians demonstrate the many 19th-century crafts, skills, and trades needed to get a farm on a successfully footing for the new growing season. The celebrations run from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a closing dance around the maypole beginning at 3 p.m.
