The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center brings back its annual Fall Lecture Series with a new theme, Legacy of the Oklahoma Cherokee Strip.
Lectures will be held at 7 p.m. on the Enid Campus of Northern Oklahoma College in the Gantz Center. As always, the lecture series is free and open to the public. This year the lecture series will feature four Oklahoma scholars, each speaking on the area of their expertise. Each lecture will be 45 minutes long followed by a time of questions and answers.
October 21, 2013 – Music and the Cowboy Culture Dr. Hugh Foley, Professor of Fine Arts, Rogers State University, will perform American West music while sharing about Cowboy culture, character traits and duties.
