“Pioneer Life” Home School Day

The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center in Enid will host a “Pioneer Life” Home School Day on Wednesday, September 25. Children ages 8–14 may register for a fun-filled day—all about making the land run and living in the Cherokee Strip prior to Oklahoma statehood. Experience life in a Victorian Home, grind corn, and practice planting seeds! Guests will also learn about surveying and claiming a homestead. The cost is $6 per person. Bring a sack lunch.
