Visit Fort Towson Historic Site for Second Saturday Demo on Saturday, August 11, from 1 to 3 pm. Adam Lynn, director of the Honey Springs Battlefield and Visitor Center, will speak about the Battle of Honey Springs. This program will include an overview of the site, battle, preservation, and historical accounts of the largest hostile encounter of the Civil War in Indian Territory.
