Annual Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, April 19, the Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the local Pawnee Lions Club and the Pawnee Chamber of Commerce. The hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m. at the ranch’s picnic pavilions. The Egg Hunt is spread out over many acres of the historic site. On Easter Sunday—April 20, the Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum will host its annual nondenominational Sunrise Service. The service will begin at approximately 7 a.m. on Blue Hawk Peak, the highest point on the ranch grounds. The Pawnee Ministerial Alliance leads the service and is a community-wide tradition. Participants are asked to bring their own seating and dress appropriately for the outdoors.

The Wanted: Dead or Alive exhibit will remain open at the Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum until Sunday, April 27. This photography exhibit features images of some of Oklahoma’s most infamous criminals. The exhibit includes images from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the University of Oklahoma Western History Collections, the National Archives, the vast photographic archives of the Oklahoma Historical Society, and private lenders. Pawnee Bill’s Original Wild West Show
The Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum celebrates Major Gordon W. “Pawnee Bill” Lillie, his wife May Lillie, and their famous Wild West Shows each June. Pawnee Bill’s Original Wild West Show is held at the original historic ranch site. Annual Quilt Show opens
Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum will host its annual Quilt Show during the month of October, featuring heirloom and modern quilts from across the state. Cimarron Valley Quilt Guild and Pawnee Bill Quilt Guild members are instrumental in putting together this yearly event. The show opens on Wednesday, October 1, and closes on Friday, October 31. Visit the Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum for a night of Ghost Stories Tours on Saturday, October 25, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Guides will lead guests on outdoor tours around the ranch site and its buildings, the big barn, log cabin, blacksmith shop, and the mansion while hearing spine-tingling, ghostly tales about Oklahoma, the surrounding area, and the Pawnee Bill Ranch.
