Fall Festival
Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum will host a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 19, from noon to 3 p.m. This free festival will feature many family-friendly activities and educational demonstrations. Guests can enjoy a hay maze, children’s crafts, refreshments at the museum, a pumpkin patch, photography stations, horse-drawn wagon rides at the big barn, tractor-pulled hayrides through the exhibit pasture, and many more activities! The Will Rogers Memorial Museum and Birthplace Ranch will celebrate the 140th anniversary of the November 4, 1879, birth of Oklahoma’s Favorite Son on an Indian Territory ranch on Monday, November 4, and Tuesday, November 5. On Saturday, August 15, starting at 7:30 a.m., aviation enthusiasts will mark 85 years to the day since Will Rogers and Wiley Post died in an Alaska plane crash. To honor their memory, pilots of over 125 small planes will land on a 2,000-foot grass strip at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch, adjacent to the house where Rogers was born in 1879. Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch will host Family Day at the Ranch on Saturday, September 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. Through hands-on activities and demonstrations, visitors will get a glimpse of what life was like in the early days of the ranch during Will Rogers’s childhood!
