Murrell Home Living History
The George M. Murrell Home Historic Site in Park Hill offers a monthly living history program. The 1845 Cherokee plantation home will host a different historical demonstration or activity every third Saturday of the month. Museum visitors will see interpreters in period dress performing tasks in a living history capacity. Stop by the Frontier Brigade Muster at Fort Gibson. This is a federal living history organization re-creating infantry drill, weapons drill, and the life of a soldier during the Civil War.
