About the film:
Iman: Two Journeys of Faith, Rooted in Oklahoma’s Heartland is a documentary that features the untold story of courage, faith, and resilience in the face of rising hate. Told from the perspective of two American Muslim women, this film explores their separate journeys into faith and how they became leaders in their community in America’s heartland. It shines a light on the history of Islam in Oklahoma and the challenges posed by Islamophobia in a post-9/11 world. More than just a film, it’s a movement—a tool for educating, healing, and bringing communities together.
