MICHAEL C. THOMPSON

General Thompson began his career as a public servant with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections before joining the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety as a trooper in 1990.

Thompson rose through the ranks to become Commissioner of the DPS where he served as an adviser to the governor on all matters related to law enforcement and public safety in the state. Additionally, Michael Thompson serves as adjutant general for the Oklahoma National Guard.
