Dennis Lippe retired from the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) in 1996 at the rank of sergeant. During his time with OCPD, Lippe served as secretary for the Oklahoma City Lodge and the State Lodge. Since 1985, he has served as the chairman of the Oklahoma State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police Memorial Committee and as chairman of the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Memorial, Inc. He has taken great effort to research all of the law enforcement line-of-duty deaths in the state. He has been responsible for having more than two hundred fallen officers from past years added to the National Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial website and Facebook page, so the services and sacrifices of Oklahoma’s law enforcement officers will not be forgotten.
