Buddy Fallis is a former district attorney for Tulsa who prosecuted more than 150 felony trials during his tenure. He was a stand-out attorney who often visited the crime scenes alongside the detectives who worked the cases. Some of his high-profile cases included prosecuting bootleggers Tom Lester Pugh and Albert McDonald for a string of murders and other crimes. Another headline-grabbing case followed the conviction of Larry Leon Chaney for the 1977 kidnapping and murder of Kendall Ashmore and her horse trainer, Kathy Ann Brown. In 2012 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Tulsa, his alma mater.
