Voices of Oklahoma is dedicated to the preservation of the oral history of Oklahoma. Voices and stories of famous Oklahomans and ordinary citizens are captured forever in their own words. Oil and gas, ranching, politics, education, sports legends, and more are visited in these far-ranging interviews. Visit www.voicesofoklahoma.com to start listening.
The Oklahoma Historical Society has partnered with John Erling and his oral history project, Voices of Oklahoma. Voices of Oklahoma is one of the premier oral history projects in the country, and this partnership will ensure John’s critical work to enhance Oklahoma’s historical record continues in perpetuity. Erling will continue to interview accomplished Oklahomans and share these stories on www.voicesofoklahoma.com and the Voices of Oklahoma podcast. All interviews conducted by Erling will be housed in the OHS archives, and the OHS will continue Erling’s work when he decides to retire.
