Ron (Ronald J.) Owens (1944– ) uncle, John Luther McBride (1898–1981) was (allegedly) the first white male child born in Luther, Oklahoma Territory, on November 22, 1898. The doctor who delivered him at home suggested he have the name Luther incorporated in his so his mother (my grandmother) did. Brian (Ronald Brian 1973– ) is my son, his wife is Tracee (nee Hawkins-1969–) and their children are Lorne (born 2001) and Ronald Cash (born 2003).
