In memory of William H. Marvel 1831-1910, Mahala A. Marvel 1837–1919
Their children were - William, Jr., Peter, Albert, Fred, Frank, Mary, Martha, and Delia. William Marvel, Sr. was serving as vice-president of the First State Bank in Binger, Oklahoma at the time of his death.
The town of Marvel (in southwestern Canadian County) was established by the Marvel family. It served as a post office from 1902-1911.

Their children were—Milton, Florence, Glenn, Amanda, George and Goldie. The family eventually moved from Missouri to near Binger, Oklahoma; where they operated an orchard.
