Dr. Jerry R. Hordinsky (1942–2000) was a physician who was board-certified in Occupational Medicine and Aerospace Medicine. His professional career included service as a US Army Flight Surgeon; Flight Surgeon with NASA and Chief Flight Surgeon during the longest Skylab mission; Deputy Flight Surgeon conducting research with the German space program for Spacelab One; and manager of the Aeromedical Research Division at the FAA Civil Aeromedical Institute in Oklahoma City. He co-founded Oklahoma Friends of Ukraine, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering academic, business, and cultural ties between citizens of Oklahoma and Ukraine.
